Chris Zietsman is the chief executive officer of SnapScan, which was one of the first contactless payments platforms in South Africa when it launched in 2013. After serving as chief financial officer at SnapScan from 2016, Zietsman was appointed as chief executive officer in 2019 driving the company since.
In this Business Talk episode, Zietsman discusses the new Wallet feature introduced in the SnapScan app which allows peer-to-peer payments. He also talks Michael through the growth SnapScan has seen over the last 18 months and how it is moving beyond its current scan-to-pay solution into a complete payment ecosystem.
