Viresh Harduth is the VP of Small Business at Sage Africa and Middle East. He has been with the company for eight years, including in his previous role as Director of Optimisation and Operations at Sage International. He is now in charge of developing the channel for Sage’s start-up and small… business portfolio, which includes Sage Business Cloud Accounting and Sage Pastel Payroll.On this episode of Owning It with Sage, Harduth unpacks research which Sage conducted between March 2020 and March 2021, in which it gathered data from about 1,900 small businesses in South Africa. He discusses the fact that many small businesses believe that they will be more profitable post-pandemic, and explains why this is encouraging.
