Wendy Myers on the emerging-market tech stocks to watch

Emerging-market tech is giving investors opportunities far beyond Silicon Valley, from South African fintech to Latin America's digital giants.

Wendy Myers, Head of PSG Securities, joins Business Talk to explore where investors can find technology growth outside the dominant US names. She examines… the relatively limited pure-tech offering on the JSE, including Prosus, Naspers and Karooooo, and explains why many South African investors look offshore for greater technology exposure.

Myers also considers whether businesses such as Capitec, FirstRand, MTN and Vodacom should increasingly be viewed through a technology lens as software, fintech, AI and digital platforms become central to their strategies.
